A summary of some of the harassment that we had to endure.

The evil man used to enjoy harassing Joan, he would sneak around at night and cause her severe anxiety. She could hear things but not understand what they were, but after a time it became clear that it was him causing trouble.

Because the land that he leased was very close to the house he was only 100 yards from Joan’s downstairs bedroom. She had a phone in her bedroom for emergencies, but instead, she was getting threatening and aggressive phone calls at roughly the same time as she was going to bed. These calls left Joan in a lot of distress.

The cold blooded man even let fireworks off in the night, these were incredibly close to the house and barns, they were so astonishingly deafening and intense, they petrified Joan and the animals. We checked where they had been let off, it was clearly on his land but right next to the border of our farm and directed at the farm.

We would often see his vehicle in areas that he shouldn’t have been in or driving away from a disturbance, but we couldn’t do anything. Joan kept a very detailed diary of times and days when he was seen and they all coincided with problems on the farm. It wasn’t just us that saw him, there were a few occasions where he was witnessed by independent people that were happy to pass on their sightings of events. Gates were opened, pipes were cut, electric fences were vandalised, all to torture us for no reason.

Some points were small, but never insignificant, but other points were like torture. Many of our animals, through no fault of their own, died a painful death due to his cold bloodedness. One example of shear cruelty was when he scared the animals, there was a cow close to calving, she and the other cows panicked so much that she was trampled to the floor, she suffered such pain from her injuries that she miscarried her calf. Her calf died inside of her of which a vet had to come and remove, but only after finding out that the damage to her was beyond help. We tried to save her life so hard with drugs, but peritonitis got the better of her and she lost her life.

He viciously used a copy of Joan’s signature to write to the benefits office to cancel all of her benefits. He wrote as if he was Joan, saying that she’d come into money and didn’t need the benefits any more. Not only did he do this once, but twice.
